Top 5 Cryptocurrency Apps in the UK Q4 2022

During the fourth quarter of 2022, the top five cryptocurrency apps in the United Kingdom exhibited diverse performance trends in downloads and active users, according to Sensor Tower data.

Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto saw fluctuations in weekly downloads, peaking at around 24.3K in early November and reaching a low of approximately 14.3K in early October. Weekly active users started the quarter at 250K, dipped to around 188K by late November, and finished the year at 219K.

Coinbase: Buy Bitcoin & Ether experienced a steady decline in weekly downloads over the quarter, starting at 10.6K in late September and ending at around 8.1K by the end of December. Active users also saw a downward trend, with a high of 301K in early November and a low of 179K by mid-December.

Sweat Wallet faced a significant drop in weekly downloads, from nearly 18.5K at the end of September to just under 3K by the end of December. Despite this, active users remained relatively stable, starting the quarter at 156K and ending at 149K.

Crypto.com - Buy Bitcoin, ETH showed a decline in weekly downloads, beginning at 7.5K in late September and decreasing to around 4.6K by the end of December. Active users also dropped from 212K at the start of the quarter to 164K by the end of the year.

Trust: Crypto & Bitcoin Wallet saw a notable increase in weekly downloads in early November, peaking at 7K, but then fell to around 5K by the end of December. Active users followed a similar pattern, rising to 108K in early November and then decreasing to 84K by the end of the quarter.
